Revolutionizing my skiing

I have officially passed the first "semester" of ski school. And the good times that I have had! Last night started the next phase of ski school and we added in some agility drills around cones. Agility is not my strong suit and on the downhill drills I missed cones a couple of times. Ooops! We also did some great hill climbing drills and I finally figured out what I am supposed to be doing with my arms/poles during V-1 climbing. It seems that I need to stop bending my elbow on the left side and bend it only after it passes by my hips on the right side. Apparently that was what Dave kept trying to tell me last ski season but I never could quite grasp what he was talking about. I'm a slow learner!

Got up early this morning and went running for the first time since the Keewenaw 25k. I definitely run harder when Dave is along. He was even on his good behaviour and not inciting me in any way. I guess I was feeling good after taking 10 days off from running.
