My theme song

I think I drove the schedulers at GHC insane today as I kept harassing them until they finally scheduled my MRI appointment. Of course, they scheduled me for over two weeks away which was not acceptable to an impatient person like myself. That lead me to call UW Health who actually does the appointments. It seems that I could get an earlier appointment but at a different location. When asked what the downside was to not going to the Science Drive location there was no downside. Apparently the Science Drive location is just newer and nicer. Not a good reason to wait two weeks obsessing about the prognosis. Good news is that I was able to get an appointment for Friday at the UW Hospital.
In other news, my friend Samantha re-wrote the lyrics to a Styx song to capture my plight . . .
Sitting on a Pasqual's stool talking like a damn fool
Got the cyclocross knee blues
And I've given up hope on the barricaded slopes
And a bottle of Advil
Is it any wonder I'm not crazy?
is it any wonder I'm sane at all
Well I'm so tired of limping- I got nothing to do and all day to do it
I go out on crutches but I've no place to go and all night to get there
Is it any wonder I'm not a criminal? Is it any wonder I'm not in jail?
Is it any wonder I've got...
Too much time on my hands, it's ticking away with my sanity
I've got too much time on my hands, it's hard to believe such a calamity
I've got too much time on my hands and it's ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands
