Valentine's Day
Okay, so it was 50 degrees outside for Valentine's Day which was a bit depressing but I made the best of the holiday anyway (snow is in the forcast). Dave took me to Sepp's Sport to buy me some new Classic skis so that made it a fabulous holiday. He got me a pair of Rossignol Xium's and Sepp is going to custom make me some poles. Very cool! Sepp should have the bindings on and the poles ready by tomorrow.
Then we spent the rest of the night watching nordic skiing and biatholon coverage from the Olympics. My favorite part is using tivo to watch people's ski technique in super slow motion. I was analyzing the V2 as I don't quite have the timing down yet so I figured watching someone do it really well in slow motion would help.
Oh yeah . . . and as to the Mora Vasalopet . . . It was a great race so I will try and post about it tonight when I get home.
