Where does the time go?
So it's only 17 days to CX Nationals?!?! How is that even possible? Where did the Fall go? And it's only 39 days to the 24 Hours of Telemark. Yeah, and a mere 87 days to the Birkie. YIKES! Where does the time go???
I have to admit that being sick has sped up my transition of thinking about the cross season to thinking about the ski season. I think it's that I'm too sick to ride or run or do anything right now so I've lowered my expectations for the last couple of races. I'm just hoping to survive.
Then it's time to think snow, waxing and winter.
However, before I get out my waxes, iron, and start worrying about the snow's humidity there is still some cyclocross to enjoy. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by Sunday and I'll be on the start line at the last Chicago race. Then Dave and I are driving out to Rhode Island.
Oh yeah, and the cross party at MadCross Central (1001 Vilas Ave, Madison) on Monday, December 4 at 6:30pm. Come see the videos from the season in full quality. Everyone is invited!

yep, exactly what you said.... lowering of expectations and just hoping to survive. me too.
my expectations were pretty low based on how the cross season has been going, but they have hit a new low...
I have been sick too, since Thanksgiving, the third time this fall. arrrgh. I keep losing fitness every time that I am sick and rest for a few days (or a week). I tried to ride the other day and felt like I was barely moving....
hope you are better for Sunday!
