Some cross and some life

First some cross . . . .

Check out the TIAA-CREF/Clif Bar cross team website and then check out the Denver Post article about the team. Very cool. If you're still bored you can check out the Brandon Dwight cyclocross skills videos on Velo News.

Second some life . . .

Last night was yoga. The class was focused on de-stressing which was nice and timely. We did lots of killer poses that reminded me how tired I was and made it challenging for me to keep forcused on the long deep breathing and breath of fire that we were using as part of the de-stress work.

I got home after yoga and was so de-stressed that I quickly made my way through the sorting and uploading of the Cat 4 men, women and junior photos. They are all up on MadCross now and if all goes well I might get to a video this week. All I have left is the Cat 3 and then the Cat 1/2 and 30+. I don't have very many of the Cat 3 unfortunately but I needed time to get changed and make sure my costume was going to work out.

I also decided last night that it was time to make a dinner that involved some amount of actual cooking. I had a potato, a sweet potato, a beet and a turnip that were just calling out to be roasted. After they were done roasting I decided to make them into pizza.

Pizza One: I mashed the potato and put that on the pizza crust. I topped it with brocolli, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped green onions and mozarella cheese.

Pizza Two: I topped the crust with refried beans and then put on the roasted sweet potato, beet and turnip along with some black olives. All that was topped with cheddar cheese.

Yummy goodness! Tonight is half-price margarita night at Pasquals . . . how I've missed my nights there as it has been a few weeks since I last enjoyed an evening there.
