Is Winter really ending?

Last night Dave and I went out to Elver for one last ski on the current snow. Given that it is 45 degrees right now and the snow was already thin in many spots I think that was the last of that snow storm. It was a good night for a ski though. Just me and Dave and maybe 3 other skiers out on the trails. Right at the end of our ski it started to sprinkle a little but it didn't rain until after we'd packed it in.

Then it was off to Pasquals for the infamous half-price margarita night. I think they gave me double the tequila in mine last night as I was a bit on the drunk side almost immediately. It's always so much fun until I have to get up early and go to work.

Anyway, with this 45 degree weather I'm thinking it will soon be time to unpack and reassemble my cross bike for some spring riding. I guess I should also take the cross tires off my road bike wheels so I can ride it. I won't worry about any of that for a few days though as I am doing the Great Bear Chase this Sunday in Calumet, MI. This may be the last ski trip of the season as Dave and I have spent the last 6 months traveling around first to cross races and then for ski races and trips. It's been a crazy, chaotic and expensive 6 months and so I think it may be time to stay home, save some money and just chill. We've had some good times in the last 6 months though!
