Furthermore
So Furthermore beer sponsored Viking Cross this last weekend and I never got around to trying some at the race. However, as luck would have it Dave won a 6-pack as a first race prime (more on that later). Last night to celebrate actually doing a training week I cracked one open. I was very curious about it as I had heard from those who were imbibing at the race that it was very fruity. I'm not sure why they thought that. I am a true connoisseur of the fruity beer and really this was just a beer with a hint of apple. I wanted to set the record straight that the Fallen Apple is more of an ale than a fruity cider. And I thought it was good even if it wasn't particularly fruity.
Back to the store about Dave winning the beer . . . . At the conclusion of the event we had one 6-pack that wasn't picked up by the prime winner. I asked JPE and Dave if either knew whose it was but they didn't. Finally I located our results page where the official had kindly noted our prime winners and Dave was listed as the first lap leader. The funny part of this story is that Dave didn't even realize that he had been leading on the first partial lap so in our discussion of who the beer might belong to he had no idea it was his. Okay, maybe it's not that funny really but it was at the time.
