KT1000 test

I saw the Physical Therapist again today and got the KT1000 test which seems to test the looseness of your bad knee in comparison with the good knee. And the verdict was that I have a seriously loose knee. The Physical Therapist assured me that she had seen worse . . . but I could tell by comments that she made that it was pretty bad. Good news is that I have great range of motion and can now do exercises aimed at strength building in preparation for surgery. I've also got the okay to ride the stationary bike and do aqua jogging. However, my Physical Therapist told me no riding a real bike outside. That was bumming me out as I had hoped to maybe be able to ride to work before surgery. Or put flat pedals on my Alan cross bike and ride on the Military Ridge trail. That would look pretty cool.
