PT Time

It's all about the Physical Therapy now. You can't even imagine how much fun that is. I get to do fun things like:
Leg lifts of all varieties
Heal slides - on the wall and on the floor
Weight shifts - side to side, forward to back, back to forward
Toe raises - that's new this week

I get to ride my bike too . . . kinda. I get on the bike and pedal a 3/4 revolution and then I back pedal and do it again for 5 minutes. Some day I may get a full pedal revolution. I'm working on stiffness in my calf muscle and my hip as I need to get ride of the inflexibility there to help my leg's range of motion. Right now I can do a max 103 degree bend in my leg but that hurts a lot to get that far. Thursday I see my surgeon for a follow up and I'm hoping he can explain the weird creaky, clicky, vibraty feeling I get in my knee. My physical therapist isn't sure exactly what is going on (a fluid sack by the meniscus, fatty deposits under the knee cap, who knows. It is all good times here . . . and I think my physical therapy is almost more time consuming than Dave's ski training. Okay, if you count the time I spend icing my knee then I'm pretty sure I spend more time.
