Practice Crit Photos

So at Tuesday's night practice crit I shot a few photos of the action. I didn't get any of the shots I need for my next class assignment. However, I used the time to try some new angles and camera settings so it was time well spent. I also don't shoot crits very often so if VeloNews ever calls and hires me to shoot a crit I'll be ready :-)

I got this shot of the A race action which I kind of like since it looks like I was trying to shoot a Schwinn ad.

I will probably take some each week since it is good practice and when I'm standing in a driveway there isn't much else to do. Last year I used the time to do physical therapy exercises so this year I will use it for photography practice. PT looks much funnier than taking photos. Luckily everyone rides too hard to notice that last year I spent my corner guarding time skipping, leaping, and doing other weird stuff.
