So much to report . . .

First off, how awesome is it that Tristan Schouten was named to the US World's CX team. Read all about it at his blog and how to donate money to help him get there. Madcross.org will also be helping to raise funds for Tristan so check out what I've got going on and buy a calendar, DVD or poster to help support Tristan. I'm hoping to put together some other fundraiser stuff so stay tuned.

Not wanting to get bored I also went out to help with snow making for the Capitol Square Sprints. Lots of snow to be made before the weekend. I have decided that I do not want to become a professional snow maker. By the time I left I was completely coated in iced. I could hardly take photos because my gloves were covered in a film of ice which made it hard to grip the camera. In addition, I spilled diesel fuel (for the generator that powers the snow cannons) down the legs of my Marmot rain pants. Since the rain pants were already quite old I just decided to get rid of them as they were a mess.

This weekend I'm signed up to help the pro photographers that are shooting the ski races. They will be assigning me photos to take. Should be interesting since I think I am going to be tired out by the time I get there to volunteer. Since I'm offering up the CX season DVDs I have to finish up the season compilation video and nats video this weekend. YIKES! All that and my women's ski training group is meeting starting tomorrow . . . more on that later.
