CX Banquet

The CX Banquet was a great success. Good times and nice to see everyone and talk cross. Also, went to the WCA Meeting to help advocate for increased racing opportunities for women in the road series. I think my involvement in the issue probably obligates me to do a couple of road races this year. Maybe I'll do a couple of April crits during that period of the year when my legs don't like to pedal as they are still in ski shape. That way all the beginner women can feel good about themselves as when I've done that in the past I've been dropped hard and fast. It's worth it to get more race opportunities for women.

Now it's midnight and I've arrived in Eau Claire for a work engagement tomorrow. It is a balmy minus 16 degrees and is getting colder. I won't be home until late on Wednesday as I'm going from Eau Claire to Wausau to DePere.
