Tomorrow

Tomorrow should be interesting. They had to change the schedule to accomodate the races that got cancelled. They did a bunch of combining of race classes and they also changed the length of my race. I will now be racing at 10:45am for 30 minutes and it will be the 30-34 women, 35-39 women, 17-18 women, under 23 women and the collegiate women. They also said they will need to make serious changes to the course. The road sections are frozen so hard that they can't get a plow to clear it. The course also has 8 inches of snow and is basically impassable in sections. I guess they will shorten it and take out a bunch of sections. I guess my pre-ride today wasn't even necessary. Good life experience I suppose.

Not sure how I feel about the 30 minutes. If they shortened it to 10 minutes I might do well. I'm not sure if it matters as I am coming down with a cold. This afternoon my throat started to hurt and tonight it is really sore. For me this is always the first signs of trouble. Luckily I didn't have high expectations to start with so it won't cause me to have a nervous breakdown.

Looks like Providence is the hub of excitement! Wish you were here.

Good Luck guys! We're all jealous back here in balmy Wisconsin where the high temp. was 65 today....... yeah right! more like 15 with 4 more inches of snow. I hope the races goes well after all, sounds like a real challenge for the organizers.
