The Westin

Looks like rumors are correct and The Westin is the host hotel for cx nationals this year. I'm not really the kind of person who stays in a Westin. That raises the question of whether it makes sense to stay at the host hotel again or not. Decisions, decisions. I guess it will depend on the pricing. It was kind of hilarious staying at the Biltmore last year . . . lines and lines of muddy and wet cx racers all returning their cars to the valets at the same time and taking their bikes through the lobby . . . and then every morning stresed out cx racers all wanting their cars at the same time. It was insanity.

And yes, this does make it sound like I'm for sure going to Nationals. Why not! I have lots of vacation time and I really need a vacation. Besides without cx nationals I might never have visited Rhode Island! It's not 100% yet as it depends somewhat on the situation with my Mom but hopefully all goes well and I can get out of town.
