I'm tired this week

Yes, it is true that I am tired this week. I still need to finish unpacking stuff from the car and then it will need to all be put away. I have thank you notes to do to our sponsors. I have an end of season party planning meeting for my road team tomorrow night. Lots going on at work. I had a meeting in the Secretary's office today (my first).

However, I've decided that it would be a great time to do some training for the cyclocross season! I like to believe better late than never and obviously I'm trying to peak for the late season events . . . that peak might not come until ski season if I don't get my butt in gear though.

Tonight I think I will do some skills practice . . . it's not like I just organized a skills clinic or something recently. Okay, I'll admit it. My skills are pathetic. Obviously having organized several cx clinics over the years (informal local ones, cycle-smart ones, etc) I theoretically understand what you're supposed to do. However, my skills took a turn for the worst after I tore my ACL and I really need to find time to work through my "mental issues" -- at the very least the ones that relate to cross! I do have moments though where I can put it together so it is possible.

In addition, my plan for the week is to ride a lot all the way through the weekend since I'm not racing anywhere this weekend (I do need to fit a visit into my Mom though given my lack of visits for the last few weeks). I'm hopeful though that since I have no work travel this week and just minor club duties that I can accomplish this task more or less in the fashion that Ben has outlined. It would be a first in months but I think I'm up for the challenge.

Some photos from the weekend are online and some more to come tonight.
