Another great cross clinic

Well, another great cross clinic has come and gone. Ben Turner, as always, did an awesome job as the instructor. Everyone learned a ton and most of the attendees will be trying out everything they learned tomorrow at the race. We also had a few boy scouts out in the morning and local racer Jim Holmes also instructed a small group of people who were on the waiting list for the full day clinic. Everyone I talked to had a great time and learned a lot!

It was a lot of work to make the clinic happen again but well worth it to see so much excitement today. It was also a bit crazy for Ben as he spent a mere 24 hours in Madison this year but I appreciate his willingness to come back again. Last year I said the clinic was a one time deal but I imagine I'll be organizing another one again next year.

Big thanks to the sponsors: Capitol Velo Club, Schwinn, Willy Street Coop and Williamson Bicycle Works. And thanks to Clif Bar (via Ben) for the energy bars that everyone enjoyed throughout the day.

Sorry, couldn't find your email! I just wanted to thank you for the invite to WI. It's beautiful and the race was a ton of fun. Now I have 3 under my belt. I'm hoping that pretty soon I don't feel like throwing up from fear before every race! But hey, no crashes today :-)

Thank you! I love WI CX!
