One more day of racing!

Today is the last day of racing in Providence. Dave has the B 35+ race this morning and then Jim and Kurt are doing the Liberty Cup race this afternoon. I'll also be out cheering for Wisconsin native Megan Monroe during the elite race as well as former Madison resident Marci Titus Hall. Marci and I warmed up in the Cyclops tent together yesterday before the Master's race and it was cool to see her out racing still and get a chance to chat with her. I think that Dag Selander will also be racing today as well as my Alan teammate Todd from Cincy.

I'm still not feeling too good although my body is glad to be done racing as that just took it out of me. My throat is really sore still but I don't think I have as much of a fever today. Yeah racing with a fever . . . that is sensible. My results weren't stellar yesterday but I did have a good time. It's a rare opportunity to race with 90 women on the course at once. I ony had one real crash which was on this one steep downhill right before the finish straight and when I got back up I said sarcastically to the crowd "that didn't go exactly like I planned." I think they laughed but I'm not sure. They may have just thought I was crazy.

Anyway, should be a fun day today!
