Why can't anything be simple??
Okay, so I should have spent more time researching jersey companies before going with one. However, I did not do that. Instead I saw an ad for a company with good prices and a supposedly quick turn around. I heard that several other local teams were using them as well. HUGE HUGE mistake on my part.
After what seems like long delays I finally got the Mad FORCs jerseys today. Slight problem though . . . the jerseys are pink not lavender. I specified the color based on the Pantone System to ensure there would be no problem. The proof showed the correct color but alas the jerseys aren't even close. I emailed my rep tonight but it looks like this will be taking up my time tomorrow.
Old jersey on the left in lavender and the jersey that was delivered today on the right in a pinkish color that is not Pantone 264.
As if I wasn't already annoyed that it was July and we still didn't have our jerseys but now they are not right. Oh yeah, and I guess I'm an idiot because I had no idea that the jerseys were being made in China. Me, the person who reads labels and worries about where things were grown or made.
Lesson learned. Not sure how this will be fixed though. And I desperate for jerseys as I've got teammates with no jerseys and they are racing this weekend and 24-9 is on the horizon. YIKES!
I went on a nice CVC ride tonight to try and forget my Mad FORCs troubles! It worked until I got home and saw the box of jerseys again.

That blows. Who's the vendor so we can avoid them?
